It should no longer surprise me (albeit it still does) that during a time that should be laden with photo opportunities the fading of the year forces its hand with multiple trials to distract me from observing the world around me. That being said my photographic endeavors received a creative shot in the arm when my wonderful parents gifted me with a Holga camera for my birthday! Now having gotten quite used to the immediate gratification of digital picture making, the need to develop film and then transfer it to a digital format was something of a throw back. However I did get to remember and enjoy the sheer anticipation of opening a photo envelope and wondering if anything turned out. Below is a sampling from my inaugural efforts!
